Golfer's Elbow (Medial Epicondylitis)

Evidence-based care for golfer's elbow (medial epicondylitis) at THE WAY Chiro in Oakville.

Golfer's elbow is a tendinopathy of the common flexor tendon on the inner (medial) side of the elbow. Despite the name, most cases have nothing to do with golf — repetitive gripping, lifting, and forearm rotation are the common drivers. Symptoms include a dull ache or sharp pain on the inside of the elbow, weakness in grip, and pain that worsens with wrist flexion or pronation.

Dr. Whyte treats golfer's elbow using Graston Technique, ART, dry needling, shockwave therapy, and Class IV laser therapy. Progressive tendon-loading exercises are the cornerstone of durable recovery, and we address the upstream ergonomic or training factors that overload the tendon in the first place.
