These terms govern your use of thewaychiro.com (the "website") and, where noted, services provided at THE WAY Chiro. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
Medical disclaimer — please read
- Reading this website does not create a practitioner–patient relationship between you and Dr. Whyte or THE WAY Chiro. That relationship begins only when you attend for assessment and care.
- Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here.
- If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. Do not use this website, our booking system, or email to communicate an emergency.
- Individual results vary. Descriptions of conditions, treatments, and typical recovery timelines are general and may not apply to your situation.
Appointments and booking
Appointments may be booked through our online booking system (provided by Jane App) or by telephone. Booking is subject to availability and to confirmation by the clinic.
Cancellations
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a fee, as time has been reserved specifically for you. If you're unwell or an emergency arises, contact us — we apply this reasonably.
Arriving late
If you arrive late, we'll do our best to treat you within the remaining time. To be fair to patients booked after you, the appointment may need to end at its scheduled time.
Fees and payment
- Fees are provided before treatment begins and are payable at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
- Chiropractic care is not covered by OHIP. See our guide to what does cover chiropractic in Ontario.
- Where you are claiming through an extended health plan, auto insurer, or WSIB, you remain responsible for any amount not covered.
- We provide detailed receipts for insurance reimbursement and tax purposes.
Consent to treatment
Before treatment begins, we will explain the proposed care, its expected benefits, material risks, and reasonable alternatives, and answer your questions. Your consent is required, and you may withdraw it at any time — including partway through a course of care or during an individual appointment.
Use of this website
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could damage or impair it
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers, or connected systems
- Use automated systems to scrape or harvest content in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure
- Reproduce, republish, or redistribute substantial portions of our content without written permission
